My recommendation is to stop looking for anyone other than Michael Lamb to complete your building and renovation needs!! I engaged Michael and his company to complete a bathroom, renovation, and bedroom upgrade with new flooring and painting which required to be done within four weeks. Michael exceeded my expectations in terms of his attention to the project, as well as sourcing and coordinating products, and finished projects.

He provides a clear document, outlining the cost of the project and provides guidance and assistance in selecting products, when requested, to complete the project. Michael was on site at least twice a day, checking on the needs of his team, the progress and quality of the work completed by his team. He hires highly qualified and skilled craftsman, and outsources, plumbing, HVAC, electrical as needed. He has developed good relationships with his vendors and works through issues promptly. I totally agree with others assessments, and that he is very meticulous. Michael is very knowledgeable in all areas of building. He has a great disposition and listens and responds to the needs of his customer. I felt as though Michael treated my home as though it were his own, going above and beyond. I got very lucky in finding Michael for my project. I was awake in the middle of the night worried about completing a renovation in a tight time frame (we had a leak from plumbing ) and thus submitted my request through Angi in the middle of the night. Michael called me shortly after nine that very next morning and made the time to come and meet with me since I was headed out of town. Michael and I worked together while I was out of town and he was always reachable and responded to my calls promptly through the project.

I sincerely cannot say enough good things about Michael and his business. He is extremely honest and I have total confidence in Michael. You will be beyond pleased if you engage him.

Three years ago my wife Tracey and I made the decision to make our part time Lewes DE home our full time residence.  Before we were to make the move we wanted to have an addition and renovation done to the house that would see us into retirement.

We commissioned an architect to draw a somewhat complicated second level addition with cathedral ceilings and a new master bath with expanded walk-in closets, requiring a side yard addition.  We bid the drawings to 6 contractors.  Michael was the only one who prepared an extremely thorough and itemized proposal.  He came to us twice to be sure he understood the complexities of the project that included major structural reinforcement.  We executed a contract that outlined every detail of the project including schedules for work and payments.

Michael and his team were on the site everyday consistently including some Saturdays and Sundays if required.  We never experienced the typical stop and start scheduling that can often happen with contractors in this region.  

We work in the design industry so our focus on details was always top of mind for Michael and his team exceeded our expectations.  We designed a somewhat complex staircase beyond what our architect had drawn and Michael was totally up for the challenge.  It remains one of the features of the project.

The only change orders we experienced on our project were driven by requests we made.  Michael stayed true to his contracted budget and the payment schedule was right on target.  We can safely say that our working relationship was a partnership from day one.  I know we would never hesitate bringing Michael back to work with us again.  It is nice to come out of a project totally satisfied and confident we made the right choice with Michael.
